Against the backdrop of the global energy transition and the continued advancement of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), international cooperation in green energy is embracing new opportunities. On August 13, Omar Majid, General Manager of Iraq Al-Daura Power Plant , visited CWPC for inspection and exchange, accompanied by Xuan Jibing, Chief Engineer of China Bengbu International Technology & Economic Cooperation Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as CBITEC), and Tao Jin, General Manager of Iraqi Branch. The delegation was warmly received by Huang Youquan, Chairman and President of CWPC, Jiang Congmin, Director and Technical Director, and Xie Zhiwei, Vice President. The two sides held in-depth discussions on the renovation and expansion project of the Al-Daura Power Plant in Iraq and explored potential cooperation in the field of new energy.

伊拉克電力部Al-Daura電廠總經理奧馬爾・馬吉德在致辭中表示，通過本次實地考察和深入交流，雙方團隊加深了相互了解，對華西能源的技術實力、裝備制造能力、工程建設經驗也有了更深刻的認識，尤其看好華西能源在能源領域的專業積澱與綜合實力，並對此次合作充滿信心。他指出，伊拉克是中東能源需求大國，目前面臨老電廠升級改造壓力和電力供應緊張的局面，政府正積極推進電力基礎設施建設。Al-Daura 電廠作爲當地重要能源項目，在保持傳統發電優勢的同時，也在積極尋求多元化發展。他期待與華西能源建立更緊密的深度合作，並表示將全力支持華西能源加快項目建設進程。

Omar Majid, General Manager of Iraqi Al-Daura Power Plant, said in his speech that through this field visit and in-depth communication, the two teams deepened their mutual understanding, and gained a deeper understanding of CWPC's technological strength, equipment manufacturing capacity, and engineering and construction experience, and was especially optimistic about CWPC's professional expertise and comprehensive strength in the field of energy, and was full of confidence in the co-operation. He pointed out that Iraq is a major energy demand country in the Middle East, facing the pressure of upgrading old power plants and tight power supply, and the government is actively promoting the construction of electric power infrastructure. As an important energy project in the region, Al-Daura Power Plant is actively seeking diversified development while maintaining the advantages of traditional power generation. He is looking forward to establishing closer and deeper co-operation with CWPC and expressed his full support for CWPC to speed up the project construction process.

考察交流期間，奧馬爾·馬吉德總經理一行專程參觀了公司裝備制造基地，重點參觀了重型容器、水冷壁、蛇形管等鍋爐關鍵部件的生產線以及制造工藝，詳細了解了公司裝備制造實力、技術創新能力、生產工藝水平及ASME質量控制系統運行情況。

Al-Daura電廠鍋爐負責人穆罕默德·塔利布、蒸汽輪機和發電機負責人瓦利德·哈立德、電氣負責人穆罕默德·法利赫，公司技術研發、國際工程、市場開發、質量管理等負責人一同參與考察交流。

During the inspection and exchange, General Manager Omar Majid and his delegation made a special visit to the company's equipment manufacturing base, focusing on the production lines of key boiler components such as heavy vessels, water-cooled walls, serpentine tubes, and the manufacturing process, and got a detailed understanding of the company's strength in equipment manufacturing, technological innovation, production process level and the operation of the ASME quality control system.
